Celebrating 20 years of educating oboists
June 23 - 29, 2019

 

In its 20th season, this residency camp for the aspiring oboe student combines comprehensive master classes, reed making and chamber music, all in our new home at Young Harris College in Young Harris, Georgia. Located in the beautiful North Georgia mountains, Young Harris College offers unique facilities ideal for the performing arts. The session is geared for students 7 th through 12 th grades and developing adults.

 

Classes will be taught by an outstanding array of teachers including Petrea Warneck - Furman University, and Lisa Sayre, Reinhardt University. Special guests will hold master classes during the week and include Dr. Lara Saville Dahl - GSU, Dr. Reid Messich - UGA and Dr. Susan Hatch Tomkiewicz - CSU. Charles Sayre is composer-in-residence. This week long event concludes with a student recital.

  3. Total Fees: $675
    • Deposit of $325 due: March 30, 2019
    • Balance of $350 due: May 15, 2019
    • $50 Late fee for all final payments received after May 30, 2019
    • No refunds will be given for cancellation after June 1, 2019.
      There will be a $50 cancellation fee which will be deducted from the deposit before June 1, 2019.
